Most PDF restrictions come from a security setting called the owner password. When a document is created, its author can set permissions that block printing, copying, or editing — even when the file opens without any password prompt. That’s why you can sometimes view a PDF but not print it.
This is different from an open (user) password, which is required just to open the file. If you can already open and read the document, the restriction blocking printing is usually the owner-password permission layer.
You should only remove restrictions from a PDF that you:
Removing restrictions from someone else’s copyrighted work without permission is not something PDF Decrypter Pro is designed for, and it is not permitted under our Terms of Use.
Processing happens entirely on your own computer, so the document never leaves your device. For a visual walkthrough, see the full tutorial.
If a PDF asks for a password before it even opens, it has an open (user) password. PDF Decrypter Pro removes owner-password restrictions; it does not brute-force or recover an unknown open password. If you know the open password but the document blocks printing, you can still use the tool to remove those printing restrictions.
